Wing Root Fairing

Dave created this two piece wing root fairing to reduce drag. It's only one of two I've seen on Zodiacs. I understand that the fairing also reduces buffeting felt from the tail at high angles of attack. Dave, whose aircraft is based in southern Ontario, Canada, has been quite happy with the results of these fairings and I Love the way it completes the look of the 601DH and HDS. Dave glued some pink foam to the wing root and sanded it till it fit what he wanted. Then epoxy.. you know the rest.
