Introduction

These Stencils were created over several years in my spare time. While I was preparing to build a Zenith 601XL, I decided to start designing my panel. Since I was unable to find any existing panel Stencils, I decided to draw my own. These are what have evolved. I truly hope that you are able to put them to good use and enjoy your designs. If you like these Stencils, share them with others. Your suggestions and comments are welcome. If you can’t find a panel you need, E-mail me a panel line drawing with measurements or if you can’t find a particular instrument or device, write me. I’ll try to get them drawn and included in the next update. Help this Stencil library grow.

NOTES: You must have Microsoft Visio installed and working on your computer before installing these Stencils.

Be sure to read the User Guide. It discusses installation, features and terminology of Visio and should speed up your learning curve.

These Stencils are saved in Visio 2002 format. This will allow them to be used with older versions of Visio as well as the latest.

Visio Aircraft Panels v4.pdf is a User Guide that discusses installation, features and terminology of Visio. You will need to have Acrobat Reader to open this file. Download Adobe Reader from the icon below.

Aircraft Panels V4.exe is a compressed self extracting .EXE file that includes all the Visio Stencils. Follow the instructions in the user guide for installation. This file also includes the User Guide.

Glass 601XL Panel.zip and Steam 601XL panel.zip are compressed sample Visio drawings that you may download and use as a start for YOUR panel.
