Home Depot Parking Brake

Here is my version of a homemade parking brake. Two ball valves from Home Depot, four Adel clamps and some 1/8" aluminum. I bolted the 1/8" bars together because I was afraid that A5 rivets weren't long enough.

With the levers down, the valves are open. Levers up they are closed and pressure is trapped in the lines from the valves to the brake calipers.

I used a bar for a control rod because I couldn't figure out how to make a cable work with the large arc of the levers.
