Rivet Setter For Spars

Top Rectangle Tube is 22"L X 3"W x2"H

Center Rectangle Tube is 6"L X 4"H x 3"W

Bottom Channel is 26"L X 8"W X 2 1/4" H

Small plate is 3 1/2"L X 1 1/2"W X 1/2" H Hole is drilled in to accept rivet head cup. Use the 1/2 hammer bar to set the center. Two counter sunk screws hold plate down.

Assemble unit with 4 bolts 1/2" size any length that will fit. The rod is 1/2 inch about 10 1/2" long. This is a very simple riveter to make and does a very nice job, one thing I would add is some spray insulation to the top rectangle of metal, this will reduce the ringing from the hammer strikes.

All parts are cheap hot rolled steel that you can get from a scrap yard, even from a Metal Supermarket this riveter would be cheap.
