David"FLIPPER"Barth

David Barth in Ontario Canada. Building 601 XL from plans and sharing some forms and sourcing of materials with Al Etherington of Oshawa, Ontario and Mark Townsend of Alma, Ontario.

44 years old and married with two daughters 9 and 12.

I work in a small (4 staff) charity and international development agency in Waterloo and often travel to Central American and Asian countries to meet with partners.

Started building in June of 2002. Tail feathers done as are ailerons and flaps. Most parts for the wings are made and ready for assembly. Many parts are also made for the fuselage - when I get stuck somewhere, I make parts for another area while I consider the problem. I am getting quite a pile as I get stuck alot. Currently have a Subaru engine but may also consider changing to a Corvair.
