How to get to The Zenith Zip Fly-in
The procedure for someone coming to Brampton from the following directions: (also read the information below from the Brampton Flying Club and the CFS)
The Brampton Airport (NC3) is owned and operated by the Brampton Flying Club. It situated on 240 acres near the town of Caledon, north of Brampton Ontario. Nestled along the Niagara escarpment in beautiful Caledon, Ontario, the Club is just 8 miles north of Brampton and 12 miles northwest of Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport (CYYZ). This modern private airport is ideally situated and provides the best of both worlds: To the south is the busiest airspace in Canada and to the west and north is the uncluttered Canadian countryside. All of this provides a superb training environment for pilots of all abilities and interests.NC3 offers two paved runways with fully paved taxiways; Rwy 33/15 is 3500 ft and Rwy 26/08 is 2500'. The airport and airspace is uncontrolled and communication is broadcast to "Brampton traffic" on 123.3 MHz. A Unicom is available for advisories and current conditions. The airport is served by a VOR/DME instrument approach off of the Toronto (YYZ) VOR.
Arriving by air
The airport is located 12nm from the Toronto (YYZ) VOR on the 310 radial at N43° 45' 37" W79° 52' 30"
The airport is below class C airspace with a base of 2500'. When arriving from or departing to the south you must contact Toronto terminal (119.3) for clearance.

Arriving by land
The airport is located 13km (8 miles) north of Brampton on the first line west of Hwy 10 (McLaughlin Rd.), north of Snelgrove.
If you are arriving from the south via Hwy 410, continue up Hwy 410 until it becomes Heart Lake Road, north of Brampton. Travel north on Heart Lake road to Mayfield road (it's the first set of lights after the road becomes a two lane road.) Turn left onto Mayfield Road and travel west to McLaughlin road, the first set of lights past Hwy 10 (third set of lights after turning off Heart Lake road). Turn right onto McLaughlin road and travel north to the airport.
If you are arriving from the south via Hwy 10, or the west via Hwy 7, travel north on Hwy 10 to Mayfield road at the small village of Snelgrove. Turn left onto Mayfield road and travel west to McLaughlin road, the first set of lights past Hwy 10. Turn right onto McLaughlin road and travel north to the airport.
